Welcome to ICU Transformational Arts
Reduce behaviour problems and improve emotional wellbeing in your school.
“Really creative, very inspirational … my mind was overflowing.”
Teacher at Cardinal Wiseman, The Birmingham Catholic Partnership Annual Inset Day.
At ICU, we run engaging, multi-dimensional programmes and workshops in schools, using creative arts to effect long lasting and holistic change in young people.
Much of the challenging and disruptive behaviour we see in our schools is caused by underlying and serious issues. If we can identify and correct these issues, we will see an improvement in educational standards and a reduction in the rate of truancy and exclusions.
But more importantly, these inspirational and supportive workshops show young people how to make positive changes to their behaviour, improve their health and wellbeing - and prepare them properly for adulthood.
Personal empowerment and transformation
We are empowerment specialists with ten years’ experience of working with young people in schools, helping them make better life choices, develop their communication and thinking skills - and improve their self-confidence and self-esteem. More about us.
Our workshops help pupils with:
- Emotional and behavioural problems
- Self-confidence and self-esteem issues
- Eating disorders and self-harming
- Aggression and anger problems
our programmes...
Over half of children with emotional disorders fall significantly behind at school - so if we encourage them to make better choices now, we can help them reach their full potential and sustain these positive changes well into their adult lives.
“I now know how to express my feelings instead of lashing out. This project has helped me to calm down.”
Samantha, Holy Trinity.
All our workshops focus on emotional health and wellbeing. They take place in a positive environment where pupils learn to value themselves and others, take control of their lives and move forward with a healthy attitude. Find out if your school qualifies for a free assessment.
